    Daytime Events

    Perfect for shorter celebrations held earlier in the day.

    • ·Daytime Events need to end by 3:00pm and remove items and exit by 4:00pm
    • ·Up to 30 guests
    • ·Includes 4 hours total - Example: 1 hour setup, 2 hour event, 1 hour clean up
    • ·Ideal for birthdays, baby & bridal showers, brunches and casual gatherings
    • ·Additional hours available at $150/hour. Can not be added after 3pm
    • ·Non-refundable reservation deposit of 50% of total rental fee required to hold the date
    • ·Rescheduling Policy: Event dates cannot be postponed or rescheduled within 30 days of the scheduled event. All changes must be made prior to this 30-day window.
    • ·Remaining 50% charged 30 days prior to event. Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable

    Horseshoe Hell

    Late September · Horseshoe Canyon Ranch

    A five-day rock climbing festival and endurance competition held on the last full weekend of September at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, just minutes from the inn. Climbers gather for competitions, clinics, live music and fellowship on some of the best sandstone in the Ozarks. Come back to Sommer House Inn for hot showers, a real bed and a quiet night's rest.

    How many guests can Sommer House Inn host for an event?
    We host up to 40 total guests for events. Sixteen of those can stay overnight across our four suites.
    Can we rent the inn just for the day, without staying overnight?
    Yes — daytime events (birthdays, baby and bridal showers, brunches and small gatherings) can be booked without an overnight stay. Daytime events must conclude by 4:00 PM and include up to 4 hours of event time (1 hour setup, 2 hour event, 1 hour clean up). The daytime event fee is $500 plus a $200 refundable damage deposit. Additional hours are available at $150/hour. Evening events, weddings and reunions require a full-property buyout with a 2-night minimum stay and a $500 event fee.
    Do you have a preferred caterer or do we bring our own?
    You're welcome to bring in your own caterer or use the full kitchen on-site.
    Is there space for a ceremony outdoors?
    Yes. The private 1 acre setting and outdoor space are well suited for small ceremonies, vow exchanges and outdoor receptions.
    How do I check availability for an event date?
    Send us a note with your preferred dates, headcount and the type of event you're planning. We'll come back with availability, pricing and a custom proposal that includes the 2-night minimum stay, event fee, and refundable security deposit where applicable.
